The Brother SE400 Computerized Embroidery and Sewing Machine uses a 4 x 4 inch hoop size and you can decorate virtually any item in a huge variety of embroidery designs. You can choose from over 70 built-in embroidery designs, 120 built-in frame patterns, and 5 built-in alphabet fonts.
In addition, the Brother SE400’s computer connectivity (via USB cable) enables you to import embroidery designs direct from your computer and you can choose from 1000s of designs from iBroidery.com for limitless options. Alternatively, you can use Brother’s embroidery cards in the built-in card slot. The main difference between the Brother SE400 and its predecessor the Brother SE350 is the computer connectivity that the SE400 offers and which the SE350 doesn’t have.
The large backlit LCD screen on the Brother SE400 Computerized Embroidery and Sewing Machine offers an on-screen reference guide and is easy to view. Embroidery designs and editing functions are accessed through the large LCD touch screen.

“The Brother SE400 is a great easy to use embroidery machine. For the low cost, this is a wonderful computerized embroidery machine. My only gripe is that there’s no space function when using fonts so you have to do words on different runs. Apart from that, I love the fonts that came with the machine.
