The Zojirushi BB-SSC10 Maestro Breadmaker offers a greater range of settings over the BB-HAC10, including a range of settings for special dietary needs which the BB-HAC10 doesn’t have, including gluten-free, salt-free, sugar-free and vegan breads.  (See full list of settings for each breadmaker in the table below.)

Other advantages that the Zojirushi BB-SSC10 Maestro Breadmaker has over the BB-HAC10 include: 3 programmable memory slots where you can customize your own knead, rise and bake times; an Auto Add Dispenser which automatically adds ingredients like nuts and seeds at the right time of the cooking process; double heaters that rapidly heat the interior for light and airy crusts; and a 24 hour clock.

Although the Zojirushi BB-HAC10 Breadmaker doesn’t have the range of settings that the BB-SSC10 has, it’s ideal for baking traditional 1 lb loaves of bread, French bread, doughs, cakes and jams.  The BB-HAC10 actually has some features that the BB-SSC10 does not have including: a viewing window in the lid; a removable lid; and a selectable bread texture feature for regular, firm of soft bread.

Both the Zojirushi BB-SSC10 and BB-HAC10 Breadmakers have a Quick Bake setting – the BB-SSC10 can bake a loaf in around 2 hours 20 minutes, while the BB-HAC10 is a little quicker at just under 2 hours.

Both the Zojirushi BB-SSC10 and BB-HAC10 Home Bakery Breadmakers also offer Crust Control, a 13 hour delay timer, LCD control panel, non-stick baking pan and kneading blade, removable baking pan, and convenient carry handle.

Ideal for smaller countertop-surfaces, neither breadmaker will take up much space but the Zojirushi BB-SSC10 is slightly larger than the BB-HAC10 (see specifications in the information tables below).

Both the Zojirushi BB-SSC10 and BB-HAC10 breadmakers come with a measuring cup and spoon as well as a manual and recipe book to get you started.
