Both the LEVOIT Vital 100S and Vital 200S Air Purifiers’ 3-stage filtration system consists of:

 

·         Washable pre-filter

·         H13 True HEPA filter that traps at least 99.97% of 0.3-micron airborne particles

·         High-efficiency activated carbon filter

In addition, the LEVOIT Vital 100S and 200S Air Purifiers are both compatible with a range of optional specialized filters for different purification purposes:

The main difference between the LEVOIT Vital 100S and 200S Air Purifiers comes down to the size of the machine and thus the size of the room and corresponding time it takes to purify the air in the room.  The Vital 200S is the larger Air Purifier capable of 5x per hour air purification in a room 380 ft sq or 1x per hour air purification in a larger 1900 ft sq room.  The smaller Vital 100S Air Purifier is capable of 5x per hour air purification in a 222 ft sq room or 1x per hour air purification in a 1110 ft sq room.

 

As you would expect with the size difference, the CADR rating also differs between the two LEVOIT air purifiers, with the Vital 100S having a CADR rating of 143 CFM / 243 m3/h while the Vital 200S has a CADR rating of 245 CFM / 416 m3/h.  The Watts rating also differs with the Vital 100S rated at 32 watts and the Vital 200S rated at 50 watts.

 

Both the LEVOIT Vital 100S and 200S Air Purifiers are uniquely designed with a wide U-shaped air inlet that effectively traps airborne pet fur, hair and larger particles from all sides without clogging the machine.

 

Easy to use, the LEVOIT Vital 100S and 200S Air Purifiers feature a touch-control panel and also offer smart remote control with the free Ve-Sync App available on Android and Apple devices.  You can even use Voice Control by connecting to third party voice assistants (Alexa & Google Assistant) for hands-free control.

 

Remotely control with the Ve-Sync App

You can adjust the fan speed, timer, various modes, check the filter and more via the control panel or through the App.  The control panel features:  air quality display, light sensor, dust sensor, auto mode, sleep mode, fan speed, timer, check filter indicator, display lock, Wi-Fi indicator, and on/off.

 

The Ve-Sync App offers additional features including:  remotely controlling the settings, set timers, create schedules, adjust fan speeds, additional Auto Modes (Quiet and Efficient), customize Sleep Mode, Pet Mode (air purifier runs for 15 minutes at high speed, then 60 minutes at medium speed, and cycles between the two fan speeds), real-time air quality updates, view air quality history for past 4 weeks, check filter life, and Voice Control.

 

Both the LEVOIT Vital 100S and 200S have a Light Detection feature whereby the Air Purifier’s light sensor will automatically turn off the panel’s display lights and limit Auto Mode to the quietest fan speeds when the room gets dark to help you get a better undisturbed night’s sleep.  On the quietest fan speed, the Vital 100S has a 23 dB low noise level and the Vital 200S has a 24 dB low noise level.

 

As previously mentioned, the LEVOIT Vital 200S is the larger of the two air purifiers with dimensions measuring around 15.6” wide x 8.5” deep x 19.8” high, while the smaller Vital 100S measures around 12.8” wide x 6.4” deep x 16.1” high.
