All the Alen HEPA filters for the BreatheSmart and BreatheSmart FIT50 include a Pre-Filter.
Depending on usage, the filter can last up to 18 months thanks to both the BreatheSmart and BreatheSmart FIT50’s Smart Filter Timer and SmartSensor technology.
In Auto Mode, the Alen BreatheSmart and BreatheSmart FIT50’s SmartSensor technology automatically detects changing air quality and adjusts the air purifier’s 4 speeds accordingly, helping to conserve energy and prolong the filter life.
As the unit’s Intelligent Sensor evaluates the environment, it not only adjusts the air purifier’s speed up or down but also changes the color of the Air Quality Indicator Light on the intuitive control panel so you can see when pollutants have been detected.

Being the smaller unit of the two air purifiers, the Alen BreatheSmart FIT50 is slightly quieter in operation than the standard BreatheSmart. The FIT50’s noise level range at the lowest speed is 32.4dB and 48.7dB at its highest speed. The standard BreatheSmart’s noise level range at the lowest speed is 41.5dB and 56 dB at its highest speed.
