A wide range of cuts is easily achievable with the Dewalt DW716, with its 11 positive stops on its adjustable stainless steel detent plate. The positive stops allow the user to easily change the position of the saw rather than having to flip the material.
The Dewalt DW716 features a Cam Lock Miter handle to deliver a quick and solid miter lock without the need of twisting the miter handle to lock in on the angle. A Miter Detent Override allows the user to override the miter stops and adjust it to any desired miter setting.
The unique double bevel design of the Dewalt DW716 miter saw allows the user to create both left and right bevels from 0-50 degrees.
The machined base fence design gives additional support to aid in straightness and accuracy, while the extra tall fences, unique gear box and belt drive increase the capacity of vertical cutting.
This saw is capable of delivering cuts up to 6 ½” base molding against the fence, crown molding up to 6 5/8”, and 2 x 10 crosscut with the back fence. The fences slide away so as not to interfere with bevel cuts.
