The main difference between the LEVOIT Core 300S and Core 400S Air Purifiers comes down to the size of the unit and thus the size of the room it is suitable for along with the corresponding time it takes to purify the air in the room.
The LEVOIT Core 400S is the larger of the two air purifiers and is capable
of 5x per hour air purification in a room 403 ft sq or 1x per hour air
purification in a bigger 1980 ft sq room.
The smaller Core 300S Air Purifier is capable of 5x per hour air
purification in a 219 ft sq room or 1x per hour air purification in a 1095 ft
sq room.
Given the size difference, it stands to reason that the CADR rating also
differs between the two LEVOIT air purifiers, with the Core 300S having a CADR
rating of 141 CFM / 240 m3/h
while the larer Core 400S has a CADR rating of 260 CFM / 442 m3/h. The Watts rating also differs between the two
units, with the Core 300S rated at 23 watts and the Core 400S rated at 38
watts.
Both the LEVOIT Core 300S and 400S Air Purifiers are designed to offer 360 degree air circulation and feature an AirSight Plus laser dust sensor. Both air purifiers offer a Sleep Mode function where the unit’s lights are turned off and noise levels reduced to ensure you get a good night’s sleep.
The touch-panel controls found on both the LEVOIT Core 300S and 400S
allow you to adjust the fan speed, set a timer, set Auto or Sleep Mode, check
the filters, lock or turn off the display.
In addition, both the LEVOIT Core 300S and 400S Air Purifiers can be
remotely controlled via the free VeSync App available on your Android or Apple
device. The VeSync App offers the ability to create schedules,
set timers, adjust fan speeds, change Mode (with two extra modes available
through the App for Quiet and Efficient), customize Sleep Mode, Pet Mode, check
the filter life, view real-time air quality updates as well as viewing the last
4 week’s air quality history.
You can even use Voice Control by connecting to 3rd party
voice assistants (Alexa and Google Assistant) for hands-free control of these
air purifiers.
As previously mentioned, the LEVOIT Core 400S is the larger of the two
air purifiers with dimensions measuring around 10.79” wide x 10.79” deep x 20.47” high,
while the smaller Core 300S measures around 8.66” wide x 8.66” deep x 14.17”
