Other settings that both the Zojirushi Virtuoso (BB-PAC20) and Supreme (BB-CEC20) breadmakers have include a Quick Bake setting, 3 crust shade options, and 3 Home Made settings with which you can create and store your own breadmaking programs, adjusting the knead, rise and bake times.

Both the Zojirushi Virtuoso and Supreme breadmakers feature a viewing window so you can see how your bread is progressing without having to open the lid.  Additional features of both bread machines include a programmable 13 hour delay timer so you can have your fresh bread baked for exactly when you want it, and a removable non-stick breadpan for easy cleaning.

Top Tips on How to Get the Best Out of Your Bread Maker Machine for the Perfect Loaf of Bread

Bread Maker, top tips on how to get the best out of your bread maker machine for the perfect loaf, bread making tips
Bread Maker
If you’ve ever tried making your own bread in a bread maker machine and have been disappointed with the results, dont’ give up!  It doesn’t mean that the bread maker is useless or that you can’t make decent bread.

There are several things that you could be doing wrong without even realising it when it comes to making bread, from using the right yeast, using ingredients at the right temperature, measuring ingredients accurately, checking the dough, and using the correct amount of salt and sugar.  It’s the little things here that make a big difference to how your bread turns out.

Here are some simple tips to follow that could help you get the best out of your bread maker for the perfect loaf of bread:

Using the right yeast

Quick/Fast acting yeast, also referred to as rapid-rise yeast is the best yeast to use in a bread maker.  If you normally keep the yeast in the fridge, (it is recommended that once a yeast packet has been opened, it should be stored in the fridge) it is important to take it out of the fridge a little while before you’re going to make your bread, so that it is at room temperature when you are ready to add it to your ingredients.

Follow the instructions carefully for your bread recipe and ensure that you use the correct amount of yeast.  The yeast is the ingredient that makes the dough expand so using the right amount is crucial as to whether your bread rises correctly or remains flat or sinks.

How to Choose the Best Bread Maker & What Features to Look For

Bread Maker Machine, how to choose the best bread maker and what features to look for, including rapid bake setting, delay timer, keep warm, automatic additional ingredients dispenser, pizza dough setting, jam & cakes settings
Bread Maker Machine
Bread makers come in a variety of sizes, colours and with many different features.  The machine you choose will depend on your budget and what you want out of your bread maker.  Not all bread makers are the same and here are some great features to look out for that will help you decide which machine is best for you:

Viewing window

Choose a bread maker that has a viewing window, that way you will be able to see the bread as it’s baking without opening the lid.  Opening the lid would have the same effect as opening the oven door when baking – you let the air in which reduces the temperature and has the negative impact on how well your bread rises.

Rapid bake setting

Choose a bread making machine that comes with a rapid bake feature.  Most breads take between three and four hours to bake, but if you can’t wait that long, then a rapid bake mode will bake a white loaf of bread in just under an hour.  Bear in mind that the end result may not be quite as good as a loaf baked on a standard cooking mode, but nevertheless it still produces a fresh loaf of bread which is better tasting than most commercially-bought bread.

Advantages & Benefits of Home Bread Maker Machines, healthier, less mess, minimum effort, range of recipes
Home Bread Maker Machine
I don’t know anybody who can walk past a bakery shop and not take in the wonderful aroma that wafts by!   With the invention of suitably-sized bread maker machines for the home, you can now make your own healthy freshly baked bread which tastes great and is quick and easy to make with the minimum of fuss.

Let’s take a look at the advantages and benefits of using a home bread maker machine:

Bread Makers are the HEALTHIER Option

Most commercially bought bread contains toxic ingredients such as preservatives, anti-fungal chemicals and many others, which can have all sorts of ill-effects on our health.  You may be one of the many people who have suffered from symptoms such as bloating or diarrhoea or even a decrease in energy after eating bread.  Digestive disturbances are quite a common reaction after eating commercially-made bread.

The great thing about making your own bread in a home bread maker is that you decide on the ingredients that you put in it.  Obviously you are only going to put in the essential basic ingredients that you need to make a great tasting fresh loaf of bread without all the additives that a commercially bought loaf would normally have in it.

If you are allergic to yeast for example, as some people are, then you can choose to make yeast-free breads.
