The Sony Alpha a6000 is the successor to Sony’s NEX 6 camera, with the biggest improvement being in the Sony a6000’s super fast auto-focus system which is what makes this camera stand out from the crowd. Other improvements include: a better more intuitive menu system and customization; better low light performance with more ISO choice with 1/3-stop increments as opposed to 1-stop on the NEX 6; 3 burst modes lo/mid/hi as opposed to 1 on the NEX 6. The Sony Alpha a6000 adopts the same gapless on-chip lens structure as the Sony a7R and a new generation RGB color filter that together significantly increase light collecting efficiency.
