Comparing Weber 46510001 Spirit E310 versus Weber 46110001 Spirit E210 LP Gas Grill, What's the Difference?

The Weber 46510001 Spirit E310 and Weber 46110001 Spirit E210 LP Gas Grills have been redesigned for ease of use, featuring a new front-located control panel and an electronic-crossover ignition system for easy start-up.

The main difference between the Weber 46510001 Spirit E310 and Weber 46110001 Spirit E210 comes down to the amount of burners and size of cooking area each LP gas grill has.

Weber Spirit E310 with 424 square inch cooking area plus 105 square inch warming, image
Weber Spirit E310 with
424 square inch cooking area
plus 105 square inch warming
The Weber 46510001 Spirit E310 is the larger of the two gas grills with 3 stainless steel burners offering 32,000 BTU-per-hour output, whereas the Weber 46110001 Spirit E210 only has 2 stainless steel burners offering 26,500 BTU-per-hour output.  The burners are spaced to provide heat across the entire cooking surface and the controls for each burner allow for direct or indirect grilling.  You can fine-tune the heat levels with the burner valves’ infinite control settings.

The amount of cooking area available with each Weber LP gas grill differs, with the 46510001 Spirit E310 offering 424 square inch of cooking area with an additional 105 square inch for warming, whereas the 46110001 Spirit E210 offers 360 square inch of cooking area with an additional 90 square inch for warming.  Both grills are spacious enough to cook a 20 lb turkey or roast meats and vegetables at the same time.

Also worth bearing in mind if you’re short of space, is that the Weber 46110001 Spirit E210 (2 burner) has fold-down stainless steel side tables whereas the side tables do NOT fold down on the Weber 46510001 Spirit E310 (3 burner).

Both the Weber Spirit E310 and E210 gas grills are sturdily constructed and feature porcelain-enameled steel shroud that doesn’t fade, peel or rust for long-lasting durability.  The cast-iron cooking grates are also porcelain-enameled, combining the superior heat-retention of cast-iron with the easy clean-up of porcelain-enamel.

Both Weber gas grills also features porcelain-enameled Flavorizer bars that catch drips of cooking juices that then smoke and sizzle to add more flavor to your food.  What doesn’t get vaporized by the Flavorizer bars goes down to the angled grease tray and catch pan.  This grease management system sits beneath the cookbox at a safe distance from the burner tubes to prevent the grease from catching fire.  Clean-up is easy - the grease tray slides out for easy cleaning and the drip pan is disposable and easy to replace.

The cookbox itself is made from cast aluminum, built to withstand grilling at any heat temperature.  The design of the cookbox combined with the shroud allows for correct heat circulation for even cooking throughout.  There’s also a center-mounted thermometer on the lid so you can see the temperature at a glance.

Both the Weber Spirit E310 and E210 gas grills utilize a 20 lb LP Liquid Propane tank (not included) which can be placed in the enclosed cart and there’s an easy-to-read fuel gauge so you can always see exactly how much fuel is left.

Let’s take a closer look at the differences and similarities in features and specifications between the Weber 46510001 Spirit E310 and Weber 46110001 Spirit E210 to help you decide on which is the best LP gas grill for you:

The Canon EF 50mm f/1.4 USM Fixed Lens is a great all-round choice of lens for all photographers to have.  50mm lenses closely mimic what the human eye can see and are ideal for general every day photography.

The Canon EF 50mm f/1.4 USM Fixed Lens produces sharp crisp images, with little flare even when shooting at the maximum aperture.  This is thanks to the lens’ Gaussian optics and 2 high-refraction lens elements which together help to eliminate astigmatism and suppress astigmatic difference.

The f/1.4 fast speed of the Canon EF 50mm Lens produces natural-looking photos in available light even indoors, something that would be more difficult to achieve with an f/4 lens for example.

The Canon EF 50mm f/1.4 USM Fixed Lens offers a rapid focusing system and is unique in that it offers extra-small Micro USM (Ultra Sonic Motor) focus adjustment as well as full-time manual focusing.  In addition, this lens offers a close focusing distance of 1.5 ft.

The Canon EF 85mm f/1.8 USM Medium Telephoto Lens is designed to produce beautiful background blur (bokeh) and is ideal for portraits and natural images or indeed any subject that requires a moderate-power telephoto.

The Canon EF 85mm lens itself is lightweight and responsive.  It produces clear sharp images at all apertures, even in low light situations.  This powerful lens offers a 1/3-stop speed advantage over the Canon 100mm f/2 USM lens.

Canon’s USM (ultra sonic motor) coupled with the wide f/1.8 aperture of the Canon EF 85mm lens allows for fast, accurate and quiet focusing.  As the front lens group does not rotate with this type of lens, any special effect filters are not affected.

Being a standard telephoto lens, the Canon EF 85mm lens offers a natural angle of view and perspective.  The beautiful background blur (bokeh) it creates makes it an excellent lens for portrait photography and other types of photography that necessitate a natural depth of field.

Thanks to its DO technology, the Canon EF 70-300mm f/4.5-5.6 DO IS USM Telephoto Zoom Lens is a convenient ultra-compact size, yet is far better quality than Canon’s standard EF or EF-S lenses.

DO stands for Diffractive Optics and this new 3-layer DO lens is incorporated into the Canon EF 7-300mm f.4.5-5.6 DO IS USM Lens to:

·         Reduce the overall length and weight of the lens.
·         Increase the refractive power of each lens element.
·         Reduce the space between the elements.
·         Adjust for chromatic aberrations.
·         Boost image quality.

As a result of the DO elements, when compared with lenses of similar specifications, the Canon EF 7-0300mm f/4.5-5.6 DO IS USM Lens is:

·         Approx. 26% shorter in length than other comparable lenses – measuring around 3.9” long (just under 10 cm).
·         Approx. 36% lighter – weighing around 25.4 ounces (720g).

The Canon EF 70-300mm f/4.5-5.6 DO IS USM Lens offers super-fast and silent autofocus with its rear-focusing ring-type USM (ultrasonic motor), and has the option of full-time manual override.  The lens incorporates Canon’s Image Stabilizer to reduce blur/camera shake, giving the equivalent effect of a shutter speed 3 stops faster.  The shape and coatings of the lens are optimized to suppress ghosting and flaring for stunning high-quality images.

The Canon EF 70-300mm f/4.5-5.6 DO IS USM Lens can focus down to a close distance of just 4.6 ft (1.4m) without rotating the front element.  The lens features a new Zoom Lock button that keeps the lens safe and secure, locking the lens when not in use or at its widest angle.

50mm Lens explained
50mm Lens
A 50mm lens is the most popular lens that normally comes with an SLR or DSLR camera.   A 50mm lens is very versatile and mimics very closely what the human eye can see.   It produces excellent quality photos and is one of the best lenses to have for general day-to-day use as it’s not too big or heavy to have attached to your camera.  While this fixed focal length lens is great for normal every day use, there are a number of different camera lenses which are best suited for more specific photographic purposes.

Many photographers like to have a selection of lenses in their camera bag to cover a variety of situations, such as bringing subjects closer to the frame or capturing a wider-angled scene.  There are a great variety of lenses to choose from, some with fixed focal lengths and some with varying focal lengths to give you more versatility in one lens.

Top Most Popular Camera Filters Explained

Camera Filters, top most popular camera filters explained
Camera Filters
Using camera filters can be a great way to enhance your photos or create special effects.  Whether you want to create a more natural looking photo with true colors, enhance contrast, remove haze, eliminate reflections, reduce purple fringing, soften images, or add creative effects such as sepia images, mirror images and more, there’s a filter for virtually anything you can think of!

Knowing which filter to use for the right conditions can be confusing.

Let’s take a look at the top most popular camera filters and the effects that can be achieved with them to enhance your photos:

We all know that light bounces and reflects off things.  In this respect, when light hits something, it reflects back the color of the object it has hit.  It will then hit another object in the color it’s reflected.  These light waves hit your camera from all directions, giving your subjects un-true colors.

A polarizing filter added to your camera will only allow light to pass in one direction and is effective for:

·         Removing haze.
·         Eliminating reflections from water or glass.
·         Reducing glare.
·         Enhancing color saturation and contrast.

Ever wondered how those deep blue skies on the picture postcards have been achieved?  A polarizing camera filter will help you to get those great colors in your pictures too.

Differences Between Full-frame and APS-C Format DSLR Cameras Explained

There are two different format types of DSLR cameras or Digital Single Lens Reflex cameras, referred to as either:

·         Full-frame
·         APS-C

The  Full-frame or APS-C format on  DSLR refers to the type of sensor that is incorporated into the camera, i.e. the type of light-sensitive electronic device that records the image.

A full-frame DSLR has the same size frame of a 35mm film negative frame, whereas an APS-C DSLR sees a smaller angle of view but with a longer reach.

Both types of DSLRs have their advantages and disadvantages.  Let’s take a look at how these different DSLR formats work and how they affect the results you get:
