"The Cuisinart Coffee Maker DCC 1200 is very sturdy and beautiful and fits with any kitchen's decor.
Having the filter built-in is a real convenience. The unit comes with a charcoal water filter, a few paper filters, and a scoop. The paper filters are optional as the gold-tone filter is included, but it's a lot easier to clean the basket by dumping the paper filter, and the brew tastes better.  If you grind your own coffee, don't grind the beans too fine as the coffee maker can overflow and the grinds will plug up the outlet.  The Brew Central has a stepped-measure in the machine that I find easier to use than a separate water level gauge. I like it because you're looking right at the level while pouring the water in and not trying to look somewhere else for the level.  I'm very pleased with the Cuisinart DCC-1200 12-Cup Brew Central. The coffee tastes great, the carafe stays hot, and the no spill feature is a joy.  Highly recommended."
