The Patriot Products CSV-3100B utilizes the newly designed Briggs & Stratton Vanguard Commercial Power Engine for powerful, smooth and quiet operation. With Patriot’s direct drive system, there’s NO belts or pulleys to replace and this machine will consistently make coin-sized chips with NO messy screens or covers to change.
Besides making quick mulch out of thick 3” diameter branches with the Patrio CSV-3100B, you can also drop leaves and vegetative material into the hopper for shredding with the Patriot’s swinging y-hammer system.
The Patriot CSV-3100B offers cooler, cleaner and more fuel-efficient operation with its Briggs & Stratton engine’s overhead valve design. The machine’s low oil run sensor helps to reduce the chance of engine damage.

Most of the time I use the chipper without the collection bag in my orchard for leaf disposal and the side discharge is really great for this - it’s powerful enough to blow the chips and debris around 15 feet away instead of piling it up in front of the machine and blocking it up so you don’t have to monitor it as you would with other chippers. This machine starts easily and has better engineering than other chippers, such as more cutting teeth and the side discharge which helps to prevent the irritating problems that other machines have.”
