See what other customers who have bought the Nikon D810 FX-format Digital SLR Camera have to say about it:

J.V.:
“Nikon has listened very carefully to their pro users when it came to designing the Nikon D810 FX DSLR and has made a long list of improvements.  I had been using the D700 for my professional work and tested the D810 mainly for architectural photography.  The D810 is bigger than my D700 but you soon get used to it.  The buttons and dials are well spread out and organized – you can even operate them while wearing gloves in cold weather.  The shutter mechanism has been designed with significantly less vibration which makes this camera extremely quiet to use.  The battery performance has been improved – I used this camera over 2 days for more than 7 hours (including the occasional film clip) and the battery still has a lot of energy left in it.  It doesn’t have GPS or WIFI built in, but you can add them as extra accessories.  The big 36 megapixel resolution is impressive, giving lots of room for cropping or making large prints.  Nikon have added a new RAW-s format to the D810 which is a 9 megapixel format.  Bear in mind that you will need a powerful computer with lots of internal memory to edit the high-megapixel files if you want to upload them to a computer or send files over the internet etc.  The big ISO range is great for filming as well as for stills, giving you the capability for better photography in low light.  A TOP camera with excellent image quality, beautiful colors, speedy and silent, great functions, great ergonomics and a robust build.”

M.E.:
“The Nikon D810 is an absolutely stunning camera.  I’ve used a lot of different cameras throughout my career, including Canon, Hasselblad, Rolleiflex, Sinar and Leica, and this Nikon is D810 is perhaps the best I have owned.  It’s a really special camera and approaches the image quality of medium format digital.  Its low-light capabilities are far better than a lot of other cameras, as well as its good auto-focusing.  Since getting the Nikon D810 I have not used anything else.”
