Both these Snow Joe snow blowers are impressive machines, with the Snow Joe iON21SB-Pro being the higher-end model with a larger size and more power to deal with larger driveways and walkways.
The Snow Joe iON21SB-Pro is the deluxe version of the original Snow Joe iON18SB and has a more powerful battery (5.0Ah compared to 4.0Ah) that lasts up to 15 minutes longer on a single charge than the iON18SB (up to 65 minutes compared to 50 minutes).

The Snow Joe iON21SB-Pro has a better snow moving capacity than the iON18SB – the iON21SB-Pro is capable of moving up to 660 lbs of snow per minute compared to the iON18SB’s 495 lbs of snow per minute.
Both the Snow Joe iON18SB and iON21SB-Pro can cut down to 8” deep without damaging the surface underneath. There is a difference in the path width between these 2 snow blowers – the iON18SB cuts a path width of 18” wide and the iON21SB-Pro cuts a path width of 21” wide.
Both Snow Joe machines feature a 180 degree auto-rotate chute that rotates instantly at the push of a switch and you can direct the snow stream up to 20 feet away.
Both of these Snow Joe machines are lightweight compared to other snow throwers, with the iON18SB being slightly lighter than the iON21SB-Pro (32 lbs compared to 36 lbs).
