J.S.:
“I have a large driveway and gets lots of drifting snow off the nearby lake so needed a serious snow thrower. The Briggs & Stratton 1696563 handles it all excellently. This snow thrower starts easily and is easy on fuel. I love the heated hand-grips! My relative is in the repair business of outdoor equipment and has seen and repaired lots of snow throwers and he recommended this machine to me saying that it was the best value in his opinion. I have to say I agree and am very happy with my purchase.”
K.W.:
“What a machine the Briggs & Stratton 1696563 is! We use this on our 1000 ft driveway that has several hills/curves. The traction with this snow thrower is great and the power of it is more than great. Just make sure all the nuts and bolts etc are tightened before you use it as it’s hard to find them in the snow!”
R.S.:
“I’m very impressed with the Briggs & Stratton 1696563 snow thrower. Assembly was minimal and easy to do although the instructions weren’t that great but it was easy to figure out. This machine can eat through a lot of snow and can throw the snow quite far. I cleared one driveway that had 3 storms worth of snow and about 24” of snow plowed in at the end of the drive with heavy snow that had melted and refrozen at the base. This machine cut straight through it. It did take me a few goes to get used to this machine but the zero turning method on this is great. You can stop either wheel from rotating which allows the other to turn on a dime without any muscle effort from you. It’s nice to have the heated handgrips too. I have gone over different surfaces with this and it has worked well on all of them, including old bricks, uneven concrete and asphalt. You just need to raise the skids a little and use a slower speed to go over brick/pavers.”
