The Toro 1500 Power Curve (38371) Snow Thrower has a 12 amp Series Wound motor and moves up to 500 lb of snow per minute. This snow blower can clear a path 15” wide and 12” deep in one pass.
There’s also a difference in snow throw distance between these 2 machines, with the Toro 1800 (38381) having a longer throwing distance of up to 30 feet, while the Toro 1500 (38371) is capable of throwing up to 25 feet.

“The Toro 1800 is lightweight and powerful and is a kick-ass little snowblower for the money. It’s very lightweight and easy to maneuver. This snow blower is relatively small and has no auto power drive so it’s not ideal for very large areas but is very quick and powerful for small spaces.”

“The Toro 1500 is a nice little machine for me. It’s lightweight and nowhere near as loud as a gas-powered snow thrower. I would say it’s about as loud as electric lawn mower. Bear in mind, this doesn’t do ice and doesn’t like hard packed snow – it’s best used before the snow gets packed down. It clears down to concrete and can be used on sidewalks, patios, small driveways (10ft wide x 100ft long). You may want to consider getting a larger machine if you want to do larger areas. I wish I’d got a larger machine but this is far better than shovelling snow. It throws snow quite far so you need to bear this in mind on a windy day!”
