See what other customers who have bought the Briggs & Stratton 1696741 Single Stage Snow Thrower with Snow Shredder Auger have to say about it:

N.J.:
“The Briggs & Stratton 1696741 is a great powerful snow thrower.  I’ve used it several times now and couldn’t be happier.  I wanted a snow thrower that was small to store away easily, easy to maneuver, yet still powerful enough to handle 8” snowfalls and this machine is it.  This snow thrower is easy to start using either electric start-up or pull-start.  This machine clears the snow all the way down to the pavement.  We had 8” of snow last night and this machine powered through it.  In some areas the snow had drifted into piles (bigger than the front of the machine) – I just slowed down and went over some of the area twice to clear it all the way down to the ground.  I thought this snow thrower would only be good for clearing snow falls greater than 3 or 4” but it easily clears just an inch or so too.”

S.T.
“The Briggs & Stratton 1696741 is a nice sturdy and well-built snow thrower.  The special auger on this breaks up ice and frozen snow easily.  The engine is more than efficient.  Satisfied.”

F.M.:
“This is the best snow thrower I’ve ever had.  It starts on the first pull and the engine is powerful enough to really throw some snow.  I would highly recommend it.”
