“The Snow Joe Ultra SJ618E Snow Thrower is very light and easy to maneuver and surprisingly powerful. We had 16” of snow just a couple of days after we got this machine and it handled it without any problems. It was light fluffy snow we had and I would expect it would take longer to deal with heavy wet snow - I think you’d just need to take your time and it would be fine. This machine is great for clearing an average-sized driveway or sidewalk. While cords are a pain, it beats shovelling!”

“The instructions that came with the Snow Joe SJ618E for assembling it were not clear, but it wasn’t too hard to figure it out. So far I’ve used this snow thrower on 6-8” of powdered snow and it works great. It’s electric powered so remember that you’ll have a cord dragging around which I don’t like. We’ll see how long this machine lasts – it’s all plastic!”
