Summary:

The Snow Joe SJ618E and SJ615E deliver the power of a gas snow thrower but with the convenience of an electric machine.  In addition to the easy start-up that electric-powered snow throwers offer, maintenance is a breeze as there’s no gas, oil or tune-ups necessary.

Both the Snow Joe SJ618E and SJ615E are single-stage snow throwers and as you can see from the tables above, the main differences between these two snow throwers comes down to the motor power and path clearing width.  So the Snow Joe SJ618E with its more powerful motor and wider clearing path will help to get the job done a little faster!  For the relatively small difference in price, the Snow Joe SJ618E is a steal!

However, if you have smaller spaces to get into, then the Snow Joe SJ615E with its narrower path width may well be the better option for you and is easier to store away thanks to its folding handle.  Both snow throwers are surprisingly easy to handle and maneuver and are a big step-up from back-breaking snow shovelling!

N.B.  Always follow the manufacturer’s instructions for safe use of snow thrower machines.
