“I’ve used the Husqvarna ST224P for the last 2 winters with last winter being the worst we’ve had for 20 years. We had the large snow accumulation and I used this snow thrower at least twice a day for several days to clear a large parking area and driveway. This machine never faltered. It started easily every time and handled both dry and wet snow well. It even cut through 3 ft high ridge left by the road plow. Although this is a heavy machine, the power steering makes it relatively easy to maneuver even in tight spots. If you’re not a big guy, I would definitely recommend the power steering! The ST224P has several speeds which help when dealing with variable depths and density of snow. The machine’s lower gear and power steering make it easy to get up/down ramps – useful if you want to load it into a truck. Excellent quality and I expect it to last for years to come.”
