Notes:
· Safety features: the RS612’s blades will immediately stop rotating if the unit is lifted from the ground or tilted at a vertical angle or if the bumper senses an obstacle. In the case of an obstacle, the RS612 will stop and then change its driving direction.
· Mowing patterns: if you watch a robotic lawnmower in action, mowing patterns may seem “random” but actually robotic lawnmowers are intelligently programmed to cut the grass from a number of different directions which means no grass is left uncut.

“The only downfall and the only issue people seem to have with robotic lawnmowers is laying the wire. I’ve had different brands in the past and learned to pay a professional to lay the wire. It’s best to bury the wire because from past experience the grass can push the wire up and then it can break and then you’d have to find the break but if you bury it then you can prevent this happening. (Similar to an invisible dog fence.) Apart from that, the Robomow RS612 works great. I have a dog and have never had any problems with him while the Robomow is operating.”

“I’ve had the Robomow RS612 for around a year so far and am very happy with it. Laying the guide wire around the yard is a little time consuming but not that bad. The RS612 is the ultimate in “set it and forget it”! The only thing I have to do is go round the edges with a weed whacker occasionally where the Robomow doesn’t reach. It’s not a cheap machine but I used to pay a company to mow the lawn so in the long run I will be saving money.
