The Char-Broil American Gourmet Offset Smoker features an offset fire box that allows for the classic indirect cooking of Smokers, with the transmission of smoky flavor and low heat throughout the cooking chamber for delicious slow-cooked smoked food.
The Char-Broil American Gourmet Offset Smoker also doubles as a BBQ or Charcoal Grill. There’s enough cooking space for a family of 4-6 people, with the main chamber featuring a 288 square inch cooking surface, and an additional 140 square inches of cooking surface in the firebox chamber.
You can cook/smoke a great range of meats and fish with this Smoker and it’s even large enough to smoke a small chicken or turkey (around 15-20 lbs).

The Char-Broil American Gourmet Offset Smoker is constructed from steel and features a convenient side shelf, adjustable height steel fire grate, porcelain wire cooking grate, temperature gauge on lid, and an adjustable built-in damper and air vents/valves.
The Char-Broil American Gourmet Offset Smoker is fairly easy to keep clean and features a simple clean-out door for easy ash removal.
Because the Char-Broil American Gourmet Offset Smoker is powered by charcoal (not gas or electric like the more expensive Smokers) you can place the Smoker anywhere in your garden/yard without worrying about how you’re going to plug in cables or wires! You can use charcoal and/or add wood chips for smoky flavored essence.
Useful tip: Follow the instructions for seasoning before use. Keep the firebox clean to help avoid flare-up. Use a cover to protect the Smoker against the elements when not in use/storing.

See what other customers who have bought the Char-Broil American Gourmet Offset Smoker have to say about it:
A.T.:
“I’ve not used the Char-Broil as a Smoker yet, but I’ve had no trouble at all using the grill. It is made of steel (not stainless steel or titanium) so it may well rust eventually but there’s no sign of rust or paint peeling so far. It’s important to follow the instructions to season it, which I did. I’ve used this so far about 4 times for around 2-3 hours each time, around 30 items. When I’m not using it, I keep in under a cover to help prolong its longevity. Like anything, if you treat it well it will last. It’s not amazing quality (appears to be made of formed sheet metal) but it does the job great! It appears sturdy once assembled. Some people say it smokes excessively but I think that’s down to user error. For such a low price, I couldn’t have asked for a better or more spacious grill.”
B.L.:
“Awesome grill! It’s a little smaller than I thought it would be but is definitely worth the money. It was very easy to put together. My only complaint is that the logo appears to be loose on the front but obviously that won’t affect the way it works. Top marks!”
W.S.:
“Got this Char-Broil for the holidays. Smokes great. Love it.”
M.H.:
“Works great as long as you know what you’re doing!”
