Vitamix G-Series 780 Blender, Review

The Vitamix G-Series 780 Blender simplifies blending a wide range of foods for making your own healthy smoothies, purees, hot soups, frozen desserts and more!

The Vitamix G-Series 780 features a powerful 2.2 peak horsepower motor with variable speed control and pulse function as well as 5 Auto Program Settings to make quick and easy work of blending even the toughest ingredients.

The 5 Auto Program Settings are for:

·         Smoothies
·         Purees
·         Hot soups
·         Frozen desserts
·         Self-clean

The Vitamix’s Self-Clean Program is amazingly quick and simple – just fill the container with warm water, add a drop of dish soap and let the machine clean itself in around just 30-60 seconds.

The Vitamix 780 is straightforward and easy to use with easy-tap buttons on an LED Touch-screen Control Panel that is constructed with hardened glass to resist cracks and scratches.

The Vitamix 780’s laser-cut blades (4” diameter) are made from hardened stainless steel to deliver consistent-quality blending throughout the life of the machine.

The Vitamix 780 comes with a low-profile 64-ounce container jug (BPA-free) and low-profile tamper.  The low-profile design of the container makes it easy to fit under most kitchen cabinets yet is large enough to make blends for the whole family.  You blend directly into the container, which is secured to the base via a metal drive system for maximum durability.  The container is easy to secure and remove and comes with a spill-proof lid with removable plug so you can add ingredients while blending.

Built for long-lasting durability, the Vitamix 780 features a radial cooling fan and thermal protection system.  Vitamix’s confidence in the quality of the 780 blender is backed by a 7 Year Manufacturer’s Warranty.

The Vitamix G-Series 780 Blender is available in black or red and comes with a useful Cookbook to help get you started.

Difference between Vitamix G-Series 780 and Vitamix Pro 750

The Vitamix G-Series 780 and Vitamix Pro 750 are virtually the same machine except for the difference in the design of the control panel.  The Vitamix 780 features an LED touch-screen control panel whereas the older 750 model features a control panel with soft-grip controls and turn-dial.  Being an older model, the Vitamix Pro 750 retails at a lower price so if you're not fussed about the design of the control panel, you can save yourself some hard-earned $$s!
