With its classic design, the Vitamix 5200 is a powerful blender that’s straightforward and easy-to-use for making your own purees, smoothies, frozen desserts, hot soups and more!
The Vitamix 5200 Blender features a powerful 2.0 peak hp (horsepower) motor coupled with a 3” diameter stainless steel blade to break down fruits, vegetables, nuts, seeds and even ice into smooth consistent blends.

Note that the 5200 does NOT have a dedicated Pulse feature like some of the newer models have – take a look at the Vitamix 5300 if that’s important to you (see below).
The Vitamix 5200 Blender comes with Vitamix’s classic tall container jug with a 64 oz capacity, suitable for blending medium to large batches for the whole family.
The newer Vitamix models like the 5300 have replaced the classic tall container with a shorter wider one (low-profile to fit better under kitchen cabinets) but some people actually prefer the classic container that comes with this 5200 blender, saying it blends thicker smoothies or small batches better.

The Vitamix 5200’s container jug is made from BPA-free Eastman Tritan Copolyester which is safe to use with all foods and is strong and durable, as well as being stain and odor resistant. The container’s spill-proof lid features are removable plug so you can add extra ingredients as you blend. A classic tamper is also included with this Vitamix.
For the technical-minded, the Vitamix 5200 Blender incorporates a radial cooling fan and thermal protection system for long-lasting durability. In fact, so confident is Vitamix in the reliability of this blender, that they offer a 7-Year Warranty on it.

See what other customers who have bought the Vitamix 5200 Blender have to say about it:
S.A.:
“I’m a huge fan of the Vitamix 5200. Its quality is unrivalled – you’ll never buy another blender again.”
J.M.:
“I love my Vitamix 5200. I make green smoothies with this blender every day. It inspires me to stay healthy and is the best product I’ve bought for self-care.”
J.O.:
“I’ve seen these blenders being demonstrated in stores but for years I thought I would never spend the money no matter how good they seemed. But after going through several cheap blenders that never seemed to last even a year, I decided to get the Vitamix 5200. It comes with a 7-year warranty so you’ve only got to do the maths to see how much all the cheap blenders that don’t last add up to over that time. I’m glad I went for it. I’ve had this blender for over a year now and it’s still running great. You’ll be surprised at the significant difference in the consistency of the smoothies made with this compared to the cheaper blenders which were quite grainy. This blender is also much faster than the cheaper blenders. It’s easy to use – I just throw in my ingredients, start the blender on low and work it up to high – just a minute later and I’ve got a great smoothie. I’ve also made Pesto, Coleslaw and soup with this blender, but I primarily use it for making smoothies. It’s worth buying quality, especially if you’re going to be using this blender frequently.”
